When to call us

  • All-wheel-drive and 4x4 vehicles
  • Electric cars, including Teslas
  • Lowered, sports and luxury cars
  • Vehicles with crash damage or a missing wheel
  • Longer trips where you want zero wear on the car

How it works

  1. 01

    Bed tilts back

The bed slides back and lowers to the ground behind the truck.

  2. 02

    Slow winch

The winch pulls the vehicle up the bed at walking speed.

  3. 03

    Strapped down

Each wheel is strapped to the bed so the suspension rides naturally.

  4. 04

    Level transport

The bed returns level and the vehicle travels without touching the road.

Have this ready

  • Tell us if the car is AWD, electric or lowered
  • Whether the wheels roll freely
  • Room in front of the car for the truck to line up
  • Transport or tow mode turned on, for EVs

Good to know

Why AWD and EVs should ride on a flatbed

Towing an all-wheel-drive car or an EV with two wheels on the road can spin drivetrain parts that aren’t meant to turn on their own. Many owner’s manuals call for flatbed transport for this reason. Check yours, or just ask us.

Flatbed towing questions

Is flatbed towing more expensive?

Not with us. We quote by distance and situation, and every tow goes on the flatbed anyway.

Can you tow a Tesla?

Yes. We’ve moved Teslas on our flatbed. Put the car in transport mode if you can, and we handle the loading.

What’s the difference between a flatbed and a wrecker?

A wheel-lift wrecker raises two wheels and the car rolls on the other two. A flatbed carries the whole vehicle, so nothing touches the road.
